Morning Gentlemen,

I'm very sorry to say the despite my best efforts this year it has proved extremely difficult for various reasons for me to raise a team for the first two JHCL games , against Bucks and Oxford and have conceded both games .

May I take this opportunity to thank both David (Bucks) and Steve (Oxford) for offering to try and re-arrange both games, this is what bowls should be about , trying to help each other whenever possible and it was greatly appreciated, however, without the commitment from some players and with only about 22 at most within the county it has became all time consuming and after 4/5 years of hard graft it is a shame that I'm not getting the support that I need.

As Middlesex have conceded points to both Bucks and Oxford I feel it would be very unfair of us to play the rest of our fixtures, if it were possible , and to this end please accept this e-mail as confirmation that Middlesex U25 's will withdraw from the league with immediate effect.

Please accept my apologises for any inconvenience this may cause you, you never know this may just be the kick up the proverbial that some people need, but somehow I get the impression that matters won't change .

Real shame because Middlesex do have some really good players at this level as results over the last few years have proved with the top 4/5 of my players always making themselves available .

Hopefully I get the chance to meet you in person over the coming months, may I also say thanks to you all for the support and help you have all given me over the last few years .
